Dolmabahçe Palace
About three centuries ago there was a broad bay whose waters sheltered many ships in the place now occupied by Dolmabahçe Palace. Halfway between a Moorish castle, a Baroque Italian palazzo and a Hindu temple, the Dolmabahçe Palace was built from marble.
