Day 1: Ephesus
The tour starts with our driver picking you up from the hotel and driving you to Istanbul’s airport for a morning flight to Izmir. Upon your arrival at Izmir’s airport, you will be met by your new driver and connected to Selcuk to join the Ephesus Tour.

The Tour’s first stop is the Temple of Artemis, once known as one of the Seven Wonders of the World is, nowadays, a place with stories to tell. Let your guide take you through the legends that involve one of the most important places of worship of the goddess Artemis (or Diana).

We proceed to visit Ephesus:  The city of Ephesus, as you can visit today, was founded by one of Alexander the Great's generals, Lysimachus, in about 300 BC. Ephesus had its best periods during the Hellenistic and Roman eras, and as the capital of the Asian province and a big port, its population was of 200,000 habitants. The Celsus’ library is one of the most impressive ancient constructions that you will ever see and strolling in these streets will make you feel like a roman yourself.

Our last stop is the House of the Virgin Mary, the place where Mary chose to settle and spend her last days. In 1980, by John Paul Pope, the site was declared has a pilgrimage place for Christians.

After the tour ends we will drive back to Izmir’s airport for a flight back to Istanbul. Upon your arrival you will be dropped off to your hotel.

After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel in Selcuk for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Pamukkale
After breakfast we will drive to Pamukkale in order to start the tour. This natural site was built by the hot water springs existing in the area. This water, falls down a hill from a height of 300 meters while depositing Calcium carbonate which, is at first a soft substance, but eventually hardens into travertine.

Walking on top of this marvel is like walking in a dream, but this is not just what Pamukkale has to offer. A roman city was built on top of it and it's waiting for your visit. The theater is truly impressive and there are several buildings in a great conservation state.

After the tour ends, we will drive back to Izmir’s airport for a flight back to Istanbul. Upon your arrival you will be dropped off to your hotel.
